The Slow Down Diet / FREE Eating Psychology Online Conference

2nd Annual Eating Psychology Online Conference

It’s a sad fact that every single one of us has something negative to say about our bodies at one time or another. For many people, especially women, it’s an everyday never-ending torrent of disgust, shame and hatred.

Another huge challenge is food and eating – what to eat, when, how much….. so many negative and worrying thoughts about our bodies, food and eating.

I know all too well what this destructive relationship can do after spending over 15 years battling an eating disorder. It’s dark, painful and lonely.

I don’t want that for anyone else. It’s a horrible existence of half-living.

Last year I participated in the very first Annual Eating Psychology Online Conference and it awakened a whole new appreciation for what true nourishment means.

I had recently finished reading Marc David’s ground-breaking book on Eating Psychology and metabolism, The Slow Down Diet: Eating for Pleasure, Energy, and Weight Loss It blew my mind, I loved it!!

Listening to these experts on their unique perspectives and insights was a revelation for where I am no win my relationship with myself, food, eating and weight. A world away from the pain I caused myself before I ‘woke up’.

Some recordings I listened to over and over while I cooked, wrote, and most especially while I was outside exercising (something I’m itching to resume as soon as my knee is recovered enough!).

Some speakers presented their ideas in a completely new light, that even I hadn’t opened up to at that point. It further lifted the lid off old cobwebs and gave me an understanding and appreciation for them.

I am so grateful for the insights and teachings I learnt last year that I’m doing it all over again this year with a few old favourites, and a few new contributors to mix it all up with the latest research, individual stories of triumph, and unique approaches from people who’ve been there just like me.

It’s completely your choice my friends whether you sign up for free and listen to as many as you can, purchase the recordings, or if you’re too scared to take that step in making peace with yourself or food. Everyone is at a different stage in their life journey and I completely respect if the timing’s not right.

If you are ready, I encourage you to take advantage of this life-changing event in helping you overcome mental obstacles, understand your body chemistry, and start appreciating food for the pleasure it CAN provide your whole-self nourishment needs.
Start LIVING, not just DIETING.
