This relaxing meditation album is the original accompaniment to Viki’s Introduction to Meditation for Relaxation & Stress Management courseThese meditations are suitable for those new to meditation or returning to it, and those people carrying around too much physical or mental stress.

This 72 minute album has five soothing and guided meditation, visualisation and breathing tracks for immediate download.

The first track is a Progressive Muscle Relaxation Exercise (PMRE), performed sitting upright in a chair. This exercise takes you into a state of deep relaxation by progressively tensing and relaxing your muscles from top to toe. It retrains your conscious mind to pay more ready attention to your muscular aches, tightness and tension throughout each day to become more consciously aware of the first physical signs of stress within your body. You will notice an increase in daily awareness so that you can then consciously choose to relax and release tension before it becomes a pain or illness.

The second track is your guided visualisation meditation where you are able to allow your mind to use all of your senses in creating a safe and calm private sanctuary in your minds’ eye. As you develop and maintain your practice, your brain (via neuroplasticity) will eventually associate the garden/sanctuary when meditating with calm and relaxation at any moment you think about or visualise your garden.

The remaining tracks are short meditations between 10 and 13 minutes, and without music (except Mantra which uses a singing bell) so that you can quickly reduce anxiety and increase mental focus and calm whilst playing your own music alongside if you choose.
