Foodie Friday - Share a Healthy, Nutritious and Delicious Recipe

Healthy, Nutritious and Delicious!

Introducing “Real Foodie Fridays” to share our love of whole, natural, real food recipes!

The weekend is a great opportunity to get creative in the kitchen making wholesome, nourishing foods and trying out new recipes!

I love to create, make and expand on recipes all the time, especially using fresh ingredients from our garden or the local markets.

My Beloved Craig jokes at how easily I can take what’s in the fridge or pantry and make something so healthy, nutritious and delicious so quickly out of so little!

While he likes to research recipes, shop for specific ingredients, create a timeline of prep work and work backwards according to when we plan to eat, I’m quite the opposite!

I like to see what we have, pull out a few things, add in a few things and let the dish come together as I go along – plus still eat on time!

Making real food dishes for me is something I love to experiment with: textures, flavours, aromas, colours.

But I’m a multi-tasking business owner, writer, presenter and step-mum trying hard to juggle, balance and maintain all of my responsibilities and needs like most working mum-preneurs!

I’m always keen to whip up nourishing meals that are full of nutrients and use minimal cooking appliances. You could say I’m a one bowl, one blender, one food processor kind of woman!

Quick, easy, nutritious and delicious is what I strive for to keep it simple yet tasty and full of goodness for myself and my family.

Because I know there are so many of you who share my love of making and creating real food, I’m opening the Blog up to any of you beautiful people in my community who would like to participate in Real Foodie Friday by sharing your own real food creations that are easy, delicious and nutritious meals, snacks, desserts and breakfasts.

Let’s inspire each other to eat real food and share how easily clean, healthy, tasty and nutritious meals can be put together to improve your health, weight, mood, energy, sleep and concentration!

As many of you know by now I don’t eat according to specific diets or labels. I eat according to my own personal bio-chemistry and what resonates best in my own body.

As we are all bio-individual I welcome ALL kinds of recipes – as long as they are whole, natural and real food based.

Feel free to contribute paleo, vegan, raw, low carbohydrate, gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free and grain-free recipes ->>> just not healthy fat-free!

If you’d like to contribute and be featured on the MindBodyFood Blog (on Real Foodie Fridays) please email info@mindbodyfood.net with:

  • your awesome real food recipe with clear instructions,
  • a quality and appetising photo of your creation,
  • a few lines about who you are (with a selfie if you’d like to share!),
  • and why you love cooking, creating and making real food (your health story if applicable).

Feel free to include a link to your own website or blog if you have one!

The very first Real Foodie Friday will begin NEXT FRIDAY 12th September!

If you’d like to see your very own recipe up on the MindBodyFood Blog and shared over social media, then get creating and send us your real food recipe!

Let’s all EAT REAL FOOD!
