Are you taking care of yourself? Or are you just going through the motions and neglecting your needs…

It’s very easy to get caught up in the daily grind and swept away with the busyness of life – I do this sometimes too, which is why I decided to do something about it and share it with you all.

If you sense that your tension, stress, fatigue and tolerance levels are under pressure than perhaps you’re not doing all you can to combat these symptoms or relieve the underlying causes.

Get back to basics and do more of what you love.

One immediate tip is to think about what you can do right now to care for your mind, body and spirit….

What’s something you love to do that makes you laugh, relax, let go, feel alive? When was the last time you did that?

Next is to be very clear on deciding a set of self-care guidelines. It comes in very handy to have a readymade list of ideas to choose from when you’re creating daily acts of self-care and making them positive habits.

Finally, it’s illuminating to actually think about all the things that you’re currently doing that clearly aren’t taking care of number one! Once you get honest with yourself and be very clear about what is not honouring your needs, you suddenly gain the self-awareness to help bring you back to centre whenever you’ve wandered a little too far.
