Reaching Your Goals on the Road Ahead

Reaching Your Goals on the Road Ahead

Dreams, Deadlines and Commitments A lot of my clients have the initial worry of how far they have to go in reaching their health and wellness goals. They focus on the long road ahead and freak out about how long it will take to get there. We’re a growing nation of impatient (stressed and overweight) people the more modern stress takes its’ toll on our lives. Spicy Hummus MindBodyFood Style!

Spicy Hummus MindBodyFood Style!

I LOVE chickpeas! Also known as Garbanzo beans, they’re a great source of fibre and protein, and helpful for digestion. In one cup of cooked chickpeas you’ll find a variety of beneficial nutrients like manganese, folate, fibre, tryptophan, protein, copper, phosphorus, iron. They’re also quick and versatile. My Week of Making Raw Chocolate Pralines!

My Week of Making Raw Chocolate Pralines!

Fudgey Goodness in a Praline Truffle! This week I’ve been focused on Raw Chocolate Pralines for my upcoming eBook, Easy Chocolate Delights. If you’re French you might like to pronounce that as “Prah-lin-aye”. As much as I like saying things in French, I’m Australian. So “Pray-lean” it is. I made about three batches of raw chocolate pralines this week using various combinations of nut butters, dark and white chocolate, and experimenting with textures, flavours and enrobing (covering the praline in chocolate, see pic below). Beloved was eating the first batch by the spoonful and telling me how much he loved me, so I knew I
